Welcome to my Bandit Guide
Welcome, fellow Mapler, to my Bandit guide! I hope that you will learn much from this guide and pursue your dreams in becoming a Shadower! Good luck and have fun in your journey as you aim to become the Bandit everyone will look up to!
Bandit
The Bandit is the 2nd job advancement for Rogues who chose to use daggers over a claw and throwing stars/knives. The Bandit is a a fast and agile class that uses weaker, yet lightning fast attacks to down enemies. Due to the short range of their weapon of choice, Bandits are forced to get very close to their targets. A Bandit's skillbook contains skills that play up their strengths.
Pros
- Gets Savage Blow at 2nd job, which attacks the enemy up to 6 times when maxed
- Meso Explosion does a HUGE amount of damage
- Acquires Haste at 2nd job, which boosts players' speed and jump
- If you have a lot of mesos, a Bandit can be the MOST powerful job to you
- Gets skills that can help players' get mesos easily
- Gets flashy skills that you can show off to people
- Acquires Shadow Shifter, Dark Sight, and Smokescreen, which is very useful when trying to avoid attacks
- Taunt allows the player to get bonus exp
Cons
- At max, Double Stab is weaker than Lucky Seven
- Has to alot of damage since it needs to go up close to attack
- Meso skills can drain your funds
- Shadow Shifter, Venomous Stab, Assaulter, and Steal has a success rate
- Chakra will cancel if hit by an enemy
Skills
The Bandit is a very unique job, with flashy and swift skills to support it. The Bandit has a couple of multi-hit skills that inspires others to make a Bandit.
Bolded Skill Level is the max lvl.
Bolded Skill in SP build means the skill is now maxed.

Lvl 3: +1 Three Snails

Why not max Nimble Feet? Because you get Haste at 2nd job, which replaces Nimble Feet.
Rogue
| Icon | Skill Name | Description | Type | Mastered | Prerequisites |
| Dark Sight | Use MP to hide behind the shadows. While hiding, the enemy won't attack, but you can't attack back either. All movements other than attacking are available. It's temporary, so after a while, you'll be back to normal. | Supportive | 20 | Disorder Lv. 3 | |
| Disorder | Temporarily decreases the morale of an opponent. Its weapon def. and attack will suffer, and the attacking enemy will suddenly stop attacking. Can't perform the attack on an enemy that's already in "disorder," however. | Active | 20 | - | |
| Double Stab | Use MP to quickly stab an enemy twice in one attack, but can only be used if wielding a dagger. | Active | 20 | - | |
| Nimble Body | Increases accuracy and avoidability. | Passive | 20 | - | |
| Keen Eyes | Increases the range of attack when using throwing stars. | Passive | 8 | - | |
| Lucky Seven | Use MP to throw 2 throwing stars and apply damage based on LUK, regardless of the level of the character's Claw Mastery. | Active | 20 | - |
Rogue Skill Build
Lvl 10: +1 Double Stab
Lvl 11 - 16: +3 Nimble Body
Lvl 17: +2 Nimble Body, +1 Double Stab (MAX)
Lvl 18 - 23: +3 Double Stab (MAX)
Lvl 24: +3 Disorder
Lvl 25 - 30: +3 Dark Sight
End Result
Double Stab - Maxed
Nimble Body - Maxed
Disorder - 3
Dark Sight - 18
Why only 3 on Disorder? Disorder is next to useless, compared to Dark Sight. Disorder is meant to decrease the amount of damage you recieve and increase the amount of damage you deal. But compared to what Dark Sight does, Disorder is useless.
Why only 18 on Dark Sight? There is not enough SP to max it.

End Result
Dagger Mastery - 19
Savage Blow - Maxed
Haste - Maxed
Endure - Maxed
Steal - Maxed
Dagger Booster - 0
Why only 19 on Dagger Mastery? The best percentage mastery possible is at lvl 19.
Why 0 on Dagger Booster? As much as Dagger Booster is a incredible skill, Savage Blow becomes your main attack skill seeing as it's very useful, and Savage Blow's attack rate is FAST.
