Mage Guide 1 to 200

Ok so you wanna be a mage thats cool. Mages use elemental attacks that do 1.5x damage on a monster if they're weak to your element and does 50% of normal damage to something resistant to it example : Fire Arrow does 600 damage (Normal) does about 900 on fire weak monsters and about 300 on fire resistant monsters.

Introduction of Mages
Mages get their job at level 8, unlike other classes :P. Its okay if you start at level 10 it barely makes much a diff. Every mage has a skill for 2nd job in common : Teleport, MP Eater. Also all mages have a party skill (Meditation, Bless). Now lets continue.
Becoming a magician
To become a Magician, at Lith Harbor for GMS, get to Olaf for the quest for some pots. Then you talk to the Magician Statue. She will tele you to Grendel the Really Old for free.(Can't do this once you got your job)If your level 8 or over (you don't need INT anymore) Grendel will make you a Magician.Now what? :O
Training
1-8/9/10 : Do all the maple island quests. SO EASY :D
8/9/10-14/15: Yay got your job! Grendel will give you training sessions, do them they give you pots :) and he will talk to you about the training center for mages. Go there, because the training center has what you need for the training Grendel gives you and Power B Fore gives you should level you up to 14 or 15.
14/15-18/19/20 : Grendel tells you to meet Lucci who is right outside. She will give you easy quests. Then you start a chain quest! The end of this quest requires you to kill Marbas, a demon, you will get 5K exp and Marbas Hat (12 int,60 wep and magic def, 8 accuracy, 20 mp) or go to Ant Tunnel I.
18/19/20 - 30 : Do a bunch of quests! At level 21,22 or 23 start to KPQ like theres no tomarrow :D. If you can with stand hits from Blue Mushroom, go to Blue Mushroom Forest, or Zombie or Horned Mushrooms. Maybe Evil Eyes.
30 - 35 : Woot you got your 2nd job! No time to celebrate. LOL. Go to Mushking Castle. But at 30 level to 31 from KPQ then go. You will get to level 33 or 34 this way. Then you should go to Ant Tunnel I. Or for better EXP go to Intoxicated Pigs,Poison Mushrooms, and Helmet Pepes! If your a I/L and you put in one Thunderbolt, go to the Subway PQ for 25 - 30 and use lightning all the way! If you want the medal, then when your almost gonna level go die :).
35 - 40 : This is where it gets complicated. Fire Mage : Train at Jr Wraiths! Beware of ocassional clerics. Or go to Ludibrium for teddies if your getting KSed by Clerics too much.If you only put fire arrow in and have 16 FA or 15 FA because of teleport, go to El Nath to kill Leatties. I personally prefer the tower, because there can be ONLY leatties, not leatties and jr.pepes. Plus, outside, you lose HP :O At 37 you can try Jr.Grupins in orbis. Not too far from the tower.
Poison Mage : Yeah Poison Mages are popular now :O. Go train at Ant Tunnel or poison some Flower Fishes in Aqua Road then kill them :D or go to Seacle or Cico or Pinboom. Aqua Road is your paradise.
Ice Mage : Fire Boars! Good enough exp. Or you can move over to Ant Tunnel again. I would do this : Freeze about 7 monsters then right when they about to thaw out kill them for fast exp. No one can ks you now! Unless a high level mobber comes and pwns you. >.> Or you can try Flower Fish in Aqua Road, with Cold Beam level 20 or over, try Jr.Cellions, Sakura Cellions and Jr.Lioners.
Lightning Mage : Crows in Zipangu! Decent EXP. Or visit your cousins the Poison Mages in Aqua Road but dont kill poison weak, kill Bubble Fish! Find a bunch of 'em and shock them to death!
Cleric : Mass kill Zombie Mushrooms. At 37 go to Jr.Wraith. Watch out for Fire Mages. Dont wanna be ksed by them do you? Or if you need money go to Swamp Bog in Phantom Forest. Get from the NLC Taxi on the left then at the entrance to the Mansion, go left and then theres a yellow portal and it will take you there. Kill the meso bags. And heal the Jr.Wraiths.
All : CPQ! CPQ at level 35 and you wont be KSed easily or be looked down on. Basically, all mages can train at Mushroom Castle's monsters. Not reccommended for clerics, however.
Level 40-50 : Fire Mage : Jr Grupins! Or Jr Wraith. Ticks are a nice alternative. If your doing Ticks and feel too slow then go down Helios Tower, go to Wiz and do his quests! Plus the melting cheese is no use to you, come on your a Mage. Sell them to players or NPC them. Good money!
Poison Mage : Do the Librarian quests. Easy exp, good money.
Lightning Mage : Ludibrium, Retz or Ratz. You should kill them in a few hits. If your level 41 I suggest going to Florina Beach for Lorangs. At level 46 also kill Clangs. Because you can get to Florina Beach from Ludibrium, you can go back and forth if your bored LOL.
Ice Mage : Jr Cellions, Sakura Cellions, Jr Lioners! All ice weak. I find it fun to go kill a few Star Pixies for additional EXP.
Cleric : Zombie Lupins if you hit them good. Or Chronos in Ludibrium. If your bored do quests in Ludibrium.
All Mages : Pyramid PQ! Well not for Ice,Fire, and Poison. You need a mobber :P Dont hit the yeti! :( or CPQ, Or do the Library Quests in Ludibrium.
Level 50-70 : Fire Mage : Jr Yetis. It is time to feel the cold winds of El Nath. A alternative is Wraith (Not Jr!) or you can CPQ2 at 55. 55 because you wont be that good under 55.
Poison Mage : No poison weak mobs to train on :( So go do quests! Or at 55 do CPQ2.
Lightning Mage : You can keep Pyramid PQing. Or CPQ2 at 55. Kill more Clangs! At 55 you can also Hoodoo/Voodoo (avoid Twisted Jesters) or MP3.
Ice Mage : Try MP3 or Hoodoo/Voodoo. Again, AVOID TWISTED JESTERS!. Or just CPQ2.
Cleric : Again, same with Ice Mage and Lightning Mages. The undeads. Except TWISTED JESTERS! Or the Level 48 Wraiths.
All Mages : CPQ2, Twisted Jesters! Around levels 64. They give 1,325 EXP per kill. The H and V oodoos of NLC, or MP3. I suggest H/Voodoos because MP3 gives less EXP, and with these two theres also Twisted Jesters around.
Level 70 - 90 : Fire Mage : Yetis! Stop training on yetis around 77. You can go to Aqua Road Danger Zone to kill some squids and sharks. Use poison mist all around the map.. wait about a minute or two then go everywhere in the map and use Explosion.
Poison Mage : Yay! More poison mobs! Green Hobi in Leafre! If you have good equips then kill Hankie. Theres also Booper Scarlion which you should kill at 82.
Ice Mage : Buffoons and Deep Buffoons! At 85 go to Leafre and visit your Poison buddies! Kill the Red Kentarus like mad! 1,600 exp per kill.
Lightning Mage : No good monsters that are weak to lightning. So kill Twisted Jesters again!
Cleric : Twisted Jester, MP3, until like 77.
All Mages : Twisted Jesters until about 77!
90 - 120 : Fire Mage : You don't wanna be the last to get to Leafre do you? Go to the Dragon Forest in Leafre and start killing Blue Dragon Turtles. Decent EXP.
Poison Mage : Rexton in Leafre! Careful, they have good Magic Attack.
Ice Mage : Red Dragon Turtles! When your about 95, then go to Red Wyverns!
Lightning Mage : No lightning mobs :( Go kill Galloperas.
Cleric : Thanatos! However low spawn. Phantom Watches! When you wanna go to Grim Phantom Watches, find a Dragon Knight to help you. You can also later kill skeles in Leafre. Or Dark Wyvern.
Level 120 - 150 : Fire Mage : Chief Qualm Guardian! It is in Time Temple. Because you may have been training in Leafre, it won't feel like a minute getting there. Decent exp. You can also do the T.O.T quests. At level 118 or later, lets have some fun with our bishop friends, shall we? Go to skeles. Don't be surprised if you get major lag and defamed. It's KS war between Genesis and Meteor. But maybe not as much EXP, so go to do quests and PQs and do bosses like Zakum!
Poison Mage : No poison weak mobs to train on. You can always do quests, and you can go kill Chief Memory Guardians.
Ice Mage : Chief Oblivion Guardians! Until level 128. Go skele a little bit or do quests. You can go into Crimson Wood Keep to do the PQ.
Lightning Mage : Quests! Keep doing quests~ or CWKPQ.
Cleric : Same as Lightning Mage.
Level 150-170 : Skeles, all mages. Skele would be the best choice you got.
Level 170 - 200 : Skeles still. Or CWKPQ,APQ (if your married), HTPQ, ZPQ, or GPQ ( if you have guild)
Level 200 : No more training. No more worrying. No more stressing. But because of no more training, you can't be trained to prepare for spam!!!! Well anyways now that your level 200, and you loved playing MS, I guess make a new character. This is all you can do.

Third job
Yes! Your level 70! Time for third job. You have to go to Ellinia to El Nath to Ellinia to El Nath and back and forth. For Grendel's Clone, I suggest some White Potions. Even for clerics. Be careful, he can summon Tauromacis or was it Taurospears? I forgot. But for a Fire or Poison Mage this will take a while, for the thing he summons is resistant to fire, immune to poison.
Fourth Job
Woot! You can go to Robeira now, she will tell you she can no longer help you, so you go to Gritto of Leafre. I never had a fourth job mage so I only know you have to kill Griffey or Manon to get a scroll you can also buy it for 10,000,000 at Ludibrium Eos Tower.
